Turn off The Microsoft Consumer Experience On Windows 10

Microsoft’s Windows 10 ships with third-party apps or links that are available into the start menu, for example: Candy Crush Soda Saga, Flipboard, Photoshop Express, … When you create a new user, you will get these apps/links in the start menu. This feature is called Microsoft Consumer Experience.

You may want to disable this feature in an enterprise environment. So you can achieve this goal by GPO or Registry.

GPO

Go to: Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Cloud Content.

On the Turn off Microsoft consumer experience setting, select Enabled:

gpo1

Registry

Open regedit and go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\CloudContent.

Double-click on DisableWindowsConsumerFeatures and change the value to 1.
