SCCM 2012R2: PXE Boot – Surface Book doesn’t load any touch screen drivers

When deploying surface book via PXE mode, you can’t use keyboard or touch screen because the drivers are not load.

To fix this problem, you must add drivers into Boot Images:

Open your SCCM console, browse to:

  • “Software Library”
  • -> “Operating Systems”
  • -> “Boot Images”.

Now, you can edit your Boot image and import the surface book drivers:

surfacebookdrivers

Note: Read this article to import your surface book drivers into SCCM.

Note2 : If you can’t import surface book drivers, you can use the following workaround: plug an usb keyboard to force the detection and then surface book keyboard will be available.
